Making our life PRIVATE~

I finally decided to make our blog private. After thinking about it for a long time, I think it would be better if only friends and family were able to read about Cameron, myself and our future family. Cameron's Lasek

Cameron had Lasek Eye Surgery a week ago and he is doing really well... the first few days were rough but he got through it with flying colors! I watched the surgery on YouTube and it made me cringe. Cameron told me he could see the laser beams hitting his eye and it smells like burning flesh, which is gross. Right after he walked out of surgery he could see better immediately. Even though my palms sweat just thinking about it, I'm super jealous!!! I believe I'm considered blind in 6 states... So, when or even if I get Lasek done, it would be well worth it.

I just wanted to write a quick post about the movie Up. My husband and I watched up the other night and LOVED IT! If you haven't seen this movie I suggest you do! It's a GREAT Pixar movie but, lets me honest... everything Pixar puts out is GREAT!

Dug (DOG) is my favorite character by far... he reminds me of both my dogs : ) Here's some quotes from the movie

Happy New Year!

Well, 2009 came and went and here we are in 2010! I'm excited for this year and thankful for all the blessings that came in 2009. I'm glad Cameron is finally over with all the training that is associated with the Army and he is finally settled in his job at Womack... he hates it, but I don't mind it so much. I don't really care for the crazy hours or the sad look on his face when he comes home BUT I do like that he can't deploy while he is there b/c there are so few soldiers to go around. I keep telling him he's at Womack for a reason but, I'm not even really sure why? :) Cameron is also getting promoted in early February to a(n) E-4(specialist) and having Lasik eye surgery done around the same time. I'm jealous! We LOVE our ward and our bishopric! Those men are so in-tune with the needs of the ward... Cameron was just called as the Young Men's President and the Boy Scout Master and I am the Primary Chorister. I enjoy my calling but it's pretty stressful... and Cameron's work schedule doesn't always allow him to be at every meeting or Church service but, we do the best we can. We enjoy serving in the church : ) I'll continue to update with new information as it comes along! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Christmas Cards

Okay, so I was going to send out Christmas cards this year but after remembering stamps are almost 50 cents a piece... I figured it would cost more to send them than buy them. So this is the picture I was going to send out with the cards! My babies ;)
