New Moon+Duke Basketball+Sarah Palin= BEST WEEKEND EVER!

So, my GREAT WEEKEND started off with the midnight showing of New Moon. Which was AMAZING! Worth the wait and it defiantly lived up to the hype! I saw it again the next day with some different friends and I still enjoyed it, just as much as the first time.
Then on Saturday Cameron and I went to a Duke Basketball game. *Story Time* When Cameron graduated AIT he was flying home in his uniform and was stopped in Atlanta waiting on his connecting flight when he saw this guy with a Duke backpack... Cameron being the HUGE Duke fan he is, sat next to the guy and said, "Hey, I like your backpack." The "guy" replied, "Well, thanks." Anyways~ The conversation kept going on about Duke Basketball and how BIG of a fan Cameron is... and then the guy said, "Well, I'm the Duke Men's Basketball athletic trainer and if you ever want tickets to a game... let me know." You can only imagine Cameron's face after that comment. So, back to this Saturday... We drove up to Duke and didn't think anything of where we would be sitting... So, we pick up our tickets and they walk us to the floor and we were like OH MY GOSH we're going to be on the bottom half of arena. So, then a lady says, "Do you know where your seats are?" We replied, "No, can you help us?" She goes okay your Row B seats 78 & 79... she points the the bench RIGHT BEHIND THE TEAM! At that moment, I felt like crying! Cameron told me soon after that he can now die a happy man... LOL! Here are some pictures of our day! Most of the pictures I actually had to ZOOM OUT to get the shot! So much fun!

So things couldn't get better right? Well, it did! I found out that Sarah Plain was coming to Fort Bragg on Monday and I couldn't miss it! I just got back from her book signing and it was great! I said, "Hi!" to her way too soon like an idoit! I was just so excited! HA HA! Anyways, I walked up and she said "Hey how ya doin?" I replied, "Good!" Then I leand in and said, "I just want to say I really appreciate your morals and vaules and it means a lot to me. It's so rare "now-a-days"." She replied, " Awe, thank you very much! What's your name?" "Ami!"... "Well it was very nice to meet you Ami!" Then she shook my hand! WOW! I'm going to start reading it after I'm done here... They were taking pictures for us and said it will be on the website in a few days. So I'll be sure to post it when I get it!

That is a great weekend! Your tickets were great for the Duke game.
If Sarah Palin's book is any good, can I borrow it to read of Christmas break?
