THE REAL ISSUES...

I have really 3 main concerns in my deciding VOTE for President... 1. The War 2. Health Care 3. The Economy! The REAL ISSUES... straight from Obama's OFFICIAL WEB page! I would just love to add that Obama is the typical democrat ... TAX! TAX! TAX! SPEND! SPEND! SPEND! And he has talked a lot about what his is "going to do" but has yet to really explain "how" he will do it!

FIRST... "Obama's Plan Bringing Our Troops Home"

"Obama will immediately begin to remove our troops from Iraq. He will remove one to two combat brigades each month, and have all of our combat brigades out of Iraq within 16 months. Obama will make it clear that we will not build any permanent bases in Iraq. He will keep some troops in Iraq to protect our embassy and diplomats; if AL Qaeda attempts to build a base within Iraq, he will keep troops in Iraq or elsewhere in the region to carry out targeted strikes on Al Qaeda." Here's the problem...if we pull the troops out of Iraq and the surrounding countries we would have lost all that time and effort AMERICAN men have spent making it better. If you don't believe me, that's fine. But every time the US hands over Baghdad back over the the Iraqi soldiers they lose it with-in weeks... EVERY TIME!!!!!! That's the truth! Despite what anyone may think, THEY NEED US!!! So, Obama says he will stop the Al Qaeda when they attempt to build a base... so we will just let them kill everyone not like them, BUT WHEN THEY BUILD A BASE, IT'S TIME TO STEP IN!(they don't build bases they use homes and buildings already in Iraq) Oh Obama, what's the point in keeping any troops over there... if your going to bring em' home.. bring em' all home! Blackwater can just protect our diplomats! Does not he remember September 11Th?! Because I know if we didn't go to war, the same thing would happen again... lets put it into perspective... should we have gone to war with Japan after Pearl Harbor? I say HELL YES! But, I'm sure some of you would disagree... what makes it so different from past to present? I'll tell you it doesn't! I'm sure some of you would have a different opinion if you lost someone if those attacks... my father lost two friends from the Pentagon. OR HAD SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOU IN THE MILITARY... (for me, it's my father, all 3 of my brothers! My father-in-law and soon to be my husband!)

NEXT..."Obama will launch the most aggressive diplomatic effort in recent American history to reach a new compact on the stability of Iraq and the Middle East. This effort will include all of Iraq’s neighbors — including Iran and Syria. This compact will aim to secure Iraq’s borders; keep neighboring countries from meddling inside Iraq; isolate Al Qaeda; support reconciliation among Iraq’s sectarian groups; and provide financial support for Iraq’s reconstruction." GET A CLUE OBAMA!!! IRAQ IS NOT STABLE!!!!! And what is so "AGGRESSIVE" about you plan? So how exactly will we secure Iraq's borders when they can't even keep there capital from Al Qaeda! Oh I guess all the American troops WHO ARE NOT THERE will do it! You can't exactly make a huge difference with a hole-lotta talk! And the key word here is "support" reconciliation among Iraq’s sectarian groups... yeah, that's not gonna happen! Hasn't happened for a LONG TIME!

NEXT...
"Keeping faith with those who serve must always be a core American value and a cornerstone of American patriotism. Because America's commitment to its servicemen and women begins at enlistment, and it must never end."

— Barack Obama, Speech in Kansas City, MO, August 21, 2007

Yeah YOU SHOW YOUR PATRIOTISM REALLY WELL!- Look at my blog titled "Who I'm not voting for... Obama! (even though it's a bit "trivial")

Just to add another point....
MAYBE IF CILTON DIDN'T DOWN SIZE THE MILITARY BY ALMOST %40, WE WOULDN'T HAVE THE SAME MEN GOING BACK TO IRAQ 2-4 TIMES! yeah, democrats really know what their doing! (that was a very sarcastic joke!)

SECOND..."Obama's Health Care Plan"

"National Health Insurance Exchange: The Obama plan will create a National Health Insurance Exchange to help individuals who wish to purchase a private insurance plan. The Exchange will act as a watchdog group and help reform the private insurance market by creating rules and standards for participating insurance plans to ensure fairness and to make individual coverage more affordable and accessible. Insurers would have to issue every applicant a policy, and charge fair and stable premiums that will not depend upon health status. The Exchange will require that all the plans offered are at least as generous as the new public plan and have the same standards for quality and efficiency. The Exchange would evaluate plans and make the differences among the plans, including cost of services, public.
Employer Contribution: Employers that do not offer or make a meaningful contribution to the cost of quality health coverage for their employees will be required to contribute a percentage of payroll toward the costs of the national plan. Small employers that meet certain revenue thresholds will be exempt. - (not great in my opinion)
Mandatory Coverage of Children: Obama will require that all children have health care coverage. Obama will expand the number of options for young adults to get coverage, including allowing young people up to age 25 to continue coverage through their parents' plans.
Expansion Of Medicaid and SCHIP: Obama will expand eligibility for the Medicaid and SCHIP programs and ensure that these programs continue to serve their critical safety net function.
Flexibility for State Plans: Due to federal inaction, some states have taken the lead in health care reform. The Obama plan builds on these efforts and does not replace what states are doing. States can continue to experiment, provided they meet the minimum standards of the national plan. " - that's not everything from the page but I think it's enough!

And why it wont work!-
He will allow people to have either private insurance or national health insurance, so the entire country will not be united under one plan. What happens if private insurance starts offering better rates than national insurance? It benefits the consumer, but the universal national health care policy falls by the wayside. John Edwards has called his plan “simply inadequate”, while Hillary Clinton says of his plan, “We have to achieve true universal health care.”
Funding
How does Obama plan to fund his plan? He plans to tax the wealthiest of Americans, and he also plans to use the emergency funds each state currently has set aside to fund the cost of emergency uninsured medical coverage. Without these funds uninsured people will be forced to acquire health insurance, something they may be unwilling to do or afford. Are we also going to totally rely on the wealthiest of American’s to fund our program? This often means taxes on big business. If our economy continues to go south and cash flows decrease from these businesses, are we going to have enough money to fund this program?
Government Intervention
According to Obama’s plan, the Government will be a watch dog to the health insurance industry for both national and private insurance. This can be a good thing and keep everyone in check, but it could also be a deterrent. Who knows what the government will strike down if they feel does not meet the “needs” of the program.
Can we trust the Government? No, I’m not talking about wack job conspiracies or anything. We have all seen what the Government has done to the Social Security program over the past few decades; it is possible the same thing could happen to the health insurance program: We could run out of money to fund it quicker then we think.
The bottom line is we need a comprehensive universal health care program, and as much as Obama wants to claim the opposite, this plan is not comprehensive or universal.

THRID... THE ECONOMY!
-I will just post this for now and finish it later today...
